OCO sensor signal visualisation

The world's first eyewear that combines wireless non-contact sensors with a machine-learning platform, so teams can collect and analyse facial data and daily activity without touching the skin.

Human insight through wearable emotion sensing

Two layers of measurement, one continuous data stream

Signal quality decides insight quality. Emteq Labs pairs a validated optical sensing front-end with context-aware analytics, so every expression is anchored to what the wearer was actually doing.

Unparalleled behavioural analytics

Map emotional responses to real activities and contexts — eating, walking, working, playing — for insight that survives outside the laboratory.

Wearable expression & emotion sensing

OCO™ sensors track facial muscle activation and deliver precise three-dimensional mapping of skin movement, wirelessly and contact-free.

Behavioural nudges

From raw facial signals to decisions people can act on

Continuous, objective measurement turns everyday moments — a meal, a lesson, a therapy session, a game — into structured data. Our models detect chewing and eating episodes, attention, expressivity and valence, then feed timely feedback back to the wearer.

Features and benefits

A simple, all-in-one wireless system to track, timestamp and annotate responses

Every subsystem was engineered for field research: no gel electrodes, no head-mounted cameras pointed at the face, no bulky acquisition hardware.

Buyer & researcher questions

Frequently asked questions

OCO™ optomyography measures facial skin movement optically — no electrodes on the skin and no camera aimed at the face. Compared with surface EMG it removes gel, adhesives and signal drift; compared with camera-based facial coding it keeps working in daylight, during movement and outside a fixed lab setup, while raw processing stays on-device for privacy.

Time-synchronised streams cover three-dimensional facial muscle activation, expression and valence metrics, head motion and activity from the 9-axis IMU and altimeter, contextual video from the outward-facing camera, and event annotations. Data is available as raw signals or interpreted metrics through our SDK and analytics platform.

University laboratories, hospital and rehabilitation teams, mental-health and nutrition researchers, XR and gaming developers, and consumer-insight groups that need objective, continuous emotional and behavioural measurement in real-world environments.

Yes. Emteq Labs provides an open SDK and analytics platform, so partners can build proprietary algorithms, dashboards and interaction models on top of validated sensor data — with engineering support available for integration programmes.
